Lónkot stands directly on the shoreline, twelve km north of Hofsós village. The islands of Málmey and Drangey rise from the fjord, mountains tower behind the property and the ocean wraps around the site on every side.

The region is rich in history, birdlife and dramatic landscapes, making Lónkot a natural starting point for exploring North Iceland, the Tröllaskagi peninsula and the road toward the Westfjords.
